This article is intended for PSIcapture Administrators.

Overview

The Batch Manager tab allows PSIcapture Administrators to tune the Batch Manager to meet specific requirements. Important configuration elements such as unique naming, tracking, database sizes, and more are available in this product area. Each configuration option is broken down below.

General Settings

Require Unique Batch Names

Selecting Require unique Batch names checks each batch within the batch manager to ensure that no two batches have the same name. If the user configures this on the Capture Server, this setting affects all shared batches created from network stations. However, if the desired affect is for both Local and Shared batches to Require unique Batch names this setting needs to be set on each station. NOTE: Even in a Capture Server environment there are always the LOCAL batch manager on that PC and the SHARED batch manager on the Capture Server.
