PSIcapture Capture Service Error: HTTP could not register URL http://+:47233/BatchManager/.

Problem:

The service will not start when a user changes the Service Account for Capture Services.

You look in the logs and find this error.

HTTP could not register URL http://+:47232/BatchManager/. Your process does not have access rights to this namespace. (see http://go.mirosfot.com/fwlink/?LinkId=70353 for details).

Solution:

You must register the Service Process in this case "BatchManager" using a cmd command line.

1. Click on Start and type in CMD (Alternatively you can just press the WIndows Key+R)
2. Type in the command below in CMD once opened
1. netsh http add urlacl url=http://+:47233/BatchManager/ user=MIS\iview
3. You will have to also register Configuration and LicenseServer Just make sure to change the statement based on the Specific PSI:Capture process highlighted.
4. Also be sure to match the blue highlighted area with the service account currently log in as the Service Account for Capture Services.
