PSIcapture Capture Service: Service Crashes immediately due to ServicesDatabases.xml file

Problem:

PSIcapture Services crashes immediately and displays an error when opening the Service manager. The ServiceDatabases.xml file is blank.

Log Errors:
The following exception(s) occurred loading the service manager.
The following error(s) occurred:
One or more errors occurred.
      at system.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.Throw(Exception e)
      at system.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.Throw(String res, String[] args)
      at system.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.ThrowInvalidChar (Char [] data, Int32 length, Int 32 invCharPros)

The following error(s) occurred:
'.', hexadecimal value 0x00, is an invalid character. Line 1,
at system.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.Throw(Exception e)

Solution:

1. Copy the syntax data from a functional workstation, located by default in:

C:\ProgramData\PSIGEN\Capture.Services\ServiceDatabases.xml

2. Paste into customer's ServicesDatabase.xml (Their file will be blank).
3. Save, and replace their existing file.
4. Re-start Services.
