PSIcapture OCR Workflow - Searchable Image is Restricted to No Greater Than 300DPI

Problem:

Customer was importing 400 DPI TIFs, using OCR workflow to produce searchable PDFs. They were expecting 400 DPI PDFs out of migration. Capture step was set for Original Resolution.

Solution:

When generating PDF with hidden text, PSIcapture converts the image resolution to ensure it is between 200 and 300 DPI, otherwise OCR recognition is not accurate or takes a long time to process. Since the recognized text was generated on the image with this resolution, this image is also used when creating the PDF. The setting "PDF image Only" does not have this restriction.
