Problem:
HP Trim / HP Records Manager has both a 64 bit install and a 32 bit install. The 64 bit install will install the server components and the client. The 32 bit install will install just the client. Since PSIcapture is a 32 bit application, we use the 32 bit SDK from HP and thus we require that the 32 bit client be installed on the computer that is running PSIcapture. If the customer doesn’t have the 32 bit client installed they will get errors along the lines of:
System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'HP.HPTRIM.SDK.dll' or one of its dependencies. The specified module could not be found.
File name: 'HP.HPTRIM.SDK.dll'
Solution:
Make sure the 32 bit client is installed on the computer. It can even be installed on top of the 64 bit install without any issues that I can see since they are installed to different directories
Also, HP renamed HP Trim to HP Records Manager when they went to version 8. PSIcapture 5.3 and later have both an HP Trim and an HP Records Manager migrations.
