Question:

How does the Rightfax connector handle the physical fax file and the tiff images?

Answer:

Right Fax Automation handles the files as follows;

1. We monitor the Right Fax Server.
2. When new Faxes are brought in we export the fax image and the metadata to the path entered on the monitored directory settings.
   
3. We export the fax and tiff but leave the original.
   
4. The original is then marked as processed by our system.
   
5. There are some options available to change flag behaviors within Rightfax Auto Import settings in Document Type Configuration step 1 of 10.
