Advanced PSIsafe Performance Tweaks

Problem: 

PSIsafe performance is slow.

Solution:

Slowness of Upload/Download of Files Setting

Set Transfer Packet size to 4096 - System > Settings > Options > File Size - Adjust this size up or down and test performance.

Slowness of Download of files Setting

[Legacy] Set IP Address in CNG.CNGTools.CNGServerService.exe.config

Turn on "Remoting for downloads" option.

Slowness of Moving between Folders, Loading Filer Setting

Set SQL Indexes of the PSIsafe DB through the standard SSMS database management routine.

Truncate the SQL Transaction log of the PSIsafe DB through the standard SSMS database management routine.

Slowness of Preview of Document Setting

Use the "Fast Preview" option, or in some case turn off "Fast Preview".

Adjust the Imageman Preview Engine to best performing option.

Slowness sometimes can be due to network provider issues for PSIsafe Cloud customers

Determine if the issue is ISP-side for PSIsafe client, or if the PSIsafe Cloud infrastructure is suffering latency issues with that particular ISP.
