PSIcapture Installation Guide: Activating and Licensing the License Server

The following instructions cover configuring the PSIcapture License Server for use with multiple licenses/stations.

1. Click on the Start Button and type License Server. Select the License Server icon.
   
   
   
2.  Below is a list of keys available in PSIcapture, note the beginning two digits signify the type of key:
   1. LSxxx-xxxxxxxx – License Server Activation Key
   2. PLxxx-xxxxxxxx – License Server Key
   3. PSxxx-xxxxxxxx – Product Key
      
      
3. Complete the registration form with the client's contact information. (areas in bold are required).
    
   
   
4. Click "Activate" to deploy the License Server.
   NOTE: The red box with the white "X" over the icon next to the server name indicate that the server is NOT active.
    
   
   
5. Choose "Retrieve and Install Licenses over Internet". If the License Server does not have Internet access, please see our "Activate Using Offline Licensing" article.
    
   
   

6. Type in the PSIcapture License Server Activation Key. This will be the key that begins with “LS”.
    
   
   

7. Complete the registration form (areas in bold are required).
    
8. When the server activation is complete the red box with the white X will be replaced witha green box with a white checkmark: 
    
   
   
9. Now that the server is activated, click on the "Add" button on the left side of the window.
    
   
   
10. Choose "Retrieve and Install Licenses over Internet". If the License Server does not have Internet access, please see our "Activate Using Offline Licensing" article.
    
    
    
11. Type in the Product or License Server Key then click "Next".
     
    
    
12. Complete the registration form (areas in bold are required).
     
    
    
13. Once the activation is complete, a list of available keys is listed. Repeat steps 9-12 for any additional licenses.
