The following is a video walkthrough of the Offline Activation process for the PSIcapture License server in environments which do not have access to the internet.

Activate the License Server via Offline Licensing - Step-by-Step
Note: PSIcapture 7.7+ now supports processing offline licensing requests when using Term-based licensing.
Activate License Server via Offline Licensing
To use the License Server, it must first be activated. To perform this activation via Offline Licensing, select the Activate License Server and select the second option Retrieve License Using Offline Licensing.
Enter your LSA licensing key on the next step, e.g. LSXXX-XXXXXXXXXXX:
Then, input the support email, in this case support@psigen.com:
Next, fill out the relevant Registration information:
Next, you will be prompted to save the Offline Activation file to an available location. Save this file locally so you can attach it to an email or upload it directly to the Offline Licensing Portal. You can then proceed with submitting the licensing request.
Submitting License Request
There are two (2) ways to submit the request file:
- Email the file to support@psigen.com OR
- Submit using the Licensing Portal

The simplest method to complete this process is to email the generated License Activation file to:
In the event that you would prefer to manually activate the Offline Activation XML file once you are confident the keys have been reset, you can do so via the link below:
The Licensing Portal is at: https://licensing.psigen.com/offlinelicensing.aspx.
Click the "Choose File" button and locate the LicenseRequest.xml saved to the computer. Once selected click "Submit". The user will be able to download the offline license file as shown below.
Applying the Offline License File
Once more, select Activate License Server:
Then, select the third option Install Licenses retrieved using Offline Licensing:
Then, select the Offline License Activation file that you received from PSIGEN support or was retrieved from the Offline Activation Portal:
This completes the License Server Activation via Offline Licensing process. Proceed to the next step to add Product Keys via Offline Licensing.
Activate Product Keys in License Server via Offline Licensing
Proceed to the process below for adding Product Keys via Offline Licensing. The steps are identical to the steps above, except the first step, which is to select Add on the right-hand side:
NOTE: Your License Server must be activated first before you can proceed to adding product keys.
NOTE: You can activate all product keys on a single invoice by either entering one key per line, or using the License Server Activation key, e.g. PLFXXX-XXXXXXXXXX.
Activate Product Keys in License Server Offline
To add a product key to the PSIcapture License Server, we repeat steps similar to above, only starting with the "Add" button on the right-hand side of the License Server. To perform this activation via Offline Licensing, select the Add and select the second option Retrieve License Using Offline Licensing:
Enter your License Server Key (PLxxx-xxxxxxxx) to activate all your product keys at once, or activate each product license () separately by repeating this process.
Remember, individual product License Keys and License server keys are different:
- LSxxx-xxxxxxxx - License Server Activation Key
- PLxxx-xxxxxxxx - License Server Key
- PSxxx-xxxxxxxx - Product Key
