PSIsafe Print-to-Safe Troubleshooting: Issue 04.09: On Print or Send To, Filer throws error Select a Document Retention Class

Problem: 

On Printing or Send To, the Filer throws message “Please select a document retention class”

Solution: 

This is generally a windows permissions issue. The windows user rights are locked down and this prevents user from accessing the registry HKEY_CURRENT_USER settings.
